Eligible Transactions

To identify transactions eligible for GL audit numbering, go to Transactions > Management > GL Audit Numbering Sequences > Review.

On this page, you can filter by accounting period to view all transactions within that period to which the numbering sequence applies.

Running a Sequence
Recurring permanent sequences will continue operating according to their set schedule. However, if you need to run a sequence outside its scheduled time, 

‍

Go to Transactions > Management > GL Audit Numbering Sequences > Run.

‍

Once there, choose a period type (Year, Quarter, or Base Accounting Period) and select one of the open periods available for that type. A list of applicable GL audit numbering sequences for the selected period will appear. Choose the desired sequence and click the Run button.

You can also initiate a sequence directly from its details page. Simply click the Run button while viewing the sequence.

Viewing Results
To view the results of a sequence run, you will be directed to the GL Audit Numbering Status page after executing a numbering sequence. Alternatively, you can access this page by navigating to

Transactions > Management > GL Audit Numbering Sequences > Status.

In the Status column for any sequence run listed, click on Complete. This will take you to the GL Audit Numbering report page.

On this page, you can review the results of the sequence run. The results will include details such as the applied GL numbering sequence, the original document numbers, the new GL numbers, and the accounting period associated with each transaction.
